We have another amazing week on tap for Virtual ParentCamp. First off in the Spanish room we have two amazing rock stars from Prince William County Schools. Prince William has been a long time partner with ParentCamp especially in the past when we have held physical ParentCamps at the US Department of Education. We are thrilled to have their support with Virtual ParentCamp.
In Room 2, we have a discussion going on that is very critical in the support of our special needs students during this crazy COVID times. Click on the link below the session title to read the article which prompted us to reach out to Bonnie Jean, Angie and Brigitte to bring the discussion to Virtual ParentCamp.
In Room 3, we have a power house line up. Two current superintendents, one you may recognize as a Virtual ParentCamp regular, Dr. Chesar, Dr Creasman, the current Kentucky Superintendent of the Year, Dr Poe, the former superintendent of Boone County Schools, the third largest school district in Kentucky and Rich Gilman, a licensed child and clinical psychologist. They will be leading the discussion on re-imagining schools for 2020 and beyond.
Lastly in Room 4, we have a sky high treat for you. Literally and figuratively 😊 Air Force veteran and NOAA hurricane hunter Danielle Varwig will be joining us. If either you or your child have an interest in aviation or meteorology, you will absolutely love this session. Thank you to JaDonnia Bishop for connecting us with your daughter!
