Please make sure you have downloaded/updated to the latest version of Zoom! Either download an update to your tablet/phone or download the update on your computer. You may ask why??? With the new version, you will be able to change rooms on your own! Even though Julie will miss seeing you all in the main room, you can now change rooms by yourself, but you need the latest version of Zoom in order to do it. She will still be in the main room if you need assistance, it is ok.

Fresh off of a trip out west, Daniel is back in the Virtual ParentCamp house! One of our biggest requested topics is mental health and mindsets. We can think of no one better than Daniel to lead this discussion. We had so much great positive feedback from the last time when Daniel joined us.
Room 3 [Connect] – Ways Community Organizations can Build Up and Celebrate our Kids and Teachers

You are in for a treat in when you stop in Manny’s room. Several years ago First Church of Christ started a relationship with a number of schools in their district called Campus Connection. The whole purpose was to build into schools, teachers and students. This amazing group of volunteers have kept spirits high during a difficult time. This is just one of many programs that a great community partner for a school district has started. Manny and many other organizations are ready and willing to help, come share ideas and get inspired to build into your school community!
Room 4 [Strengthen] – COMMUNITY is the ANSWER – Testing is NOT

THIS is going to be powerful! Dr. Joe Hibbett believes that EQUITY is NOT an INITIATIVE. He has been an advocate for the critically “at-risk” students and families for over 10 years in public education. The question is not, “Do our schools create a public?” The real question is “What kind of public does it create?” Rediscovering the VALUE of Public Education through poverty.
